Vernon Wallace

Vernon Wallace is a self taught producer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who resides in the North Texas area.  He attended the New Mexico State University school of music for a year before realizing he preferred the stage to the classroom.  Upon leaving college Vernon played and toured with several blues, country and pop bands, the most prominent being Funky Brewster as lead vocalist.  Funky Brewster recorded their first EP "Follow The Noise" in Albuquerque NM, before moving to Dallas, TX. "Follow The Noise" was the Z-Rock Pick Of The Week Nationwide two weeks in a row and was successful in catching the Attention of Mercury, Epic, Geffen, Interscope and Atlantic Records. After several years of playing and touring the Southwest region Vernon decided to slow things down and focus on writing, recording and producing songs. He bought a record label (Knockout Records), started Humble Guys Publishing, signed a few artists and never looked back. At this time Vernon is focused on producing artists, and writing music for film, TV and advertising.
